Hunt one of the top areas in Canada’s Yukon Territory for trophy moose, Dall sheep, and Mountain grizzly. This vast hunt area is located in the southwestern part of the Yukon. This game-rich region encompasses over 3,500 square miles of rugged mountain peaks, lush river bottoms, pristine remote lakes, and hundreds of miles of fresh mountain streams. The region is known for producing some of the finest trophies in the Yukon every year.
Our outfitter is dedicated, hardworking, and will go the extra mile to ensure all clients a memorable hunting experience. All hunts are fully guided by experienced guides by horseback and backpack, depending on hunt location. All moose hunts are conducted during the rut by spot and stalk. Calling methods are the primary means of pulling these giant bulls within proximity.
Hunters can expect high shot opportunities on trophy bulls with top-end bulls pushing the 70″ mark. In addition to trophy moose hunting, this outfitter also offers 14-day combination hunts for moose/Dall sheep or moose/grizzly, and possibly, if permits remain, Mountain caribou on a trophy fee basis. Dall sheep are in abundance in this area and the trophy quality is exceptional, with top-end rams pushing 40″. This is one of the top trophy moose hunts in North America and makes for an excellent combination hunt.
Due to the vastness of this hunt region, this outfitter offers remote tented camps as well as base camp cabins in a variety of locations. Annually they are cutting new trails and opening up areas that have never been hunted before. We believe this is one of the best-valued trophy hunts in all of North America. Whether you’re looking for a single-species moose hunt or a combination hunt, this is one of our top picks.
Due to the limited number of hunters annually, reservations are typically required well in advance. Give WTA a call today at 1-800-346-8747.
