This private ranch, located in western Utah, encompasses over 100,000 acres of some of the best elk habitat in the West. This remote area is home to a resident herd of approximately 1,500 Rocky Mountain Elk. WTA’s long-time outfitter has been outfitting and managing these lands exclusively for over two decades with outstanding success and hunt reports. Each year to better manage the herd, they offer a limited number of cow elk permits. These permits are in high demand. Thus, WTA has secured several permits exclusively for our customers looking for a high-success meat hunt. All hunts are fully guided 2×1, and shot opportunities have been 100%, with most hunters tagging out in the first couple of days. Due to the remoteness of this ranch, hunters will need to stay in Wendover, Utah, which is a drive of approximately 1.5 hours to the hunt location, all good roads. Wendover has a wide variety of restaurants and hotels and the ability to try your luck at the casino if you choose. Give us a call today; these will not last long.

Transportation
Drive to Wendover, Utah. Select your hotel of choice. The following morning, drive to Ibapah, Utah. The outfitter will meet you and start hunting.
Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Farm or ranch hunts from stands or blinds. Substantial use of 4x4 pickups, UTVs. Most whitetail deer hunts.
Moderate: These hunts are mostly conducted on private ranches. Species include mule deer, elk, antelope, some caribou and African plains game hunts. Moderate to light hiking each day in semi-mountainous terrain.
Difficult: These hunts are a true wilderness experience and are usually conducted on horseback, hunting species such as elk, moose, bear, some mountain lion and African Cape buffalo. Difficult to extreme hiking and backpacking can be involved.
Extreme: All sheep hunts, goat, most grizzly and brown bear, some mountain lion and elephant. The terrain and/or animals can involve some dangerous situations. These hunts will probably require extreme physical endurance and some athletic ability.
